Definition of "Misadventure" ?
. . Contributed By Richard DesHotels On Thursday, June 03, 1999
This site pays tribute to all Vietnam era heroes and the originators can be proud of their creation and contribution.I was a Marine from 1969 to 1971 and have been able to finally identify which boot camp buddies did not make it back from Nam. In the "cause of death" portion of the obituaries, "MISADVENTURE" was listed on a couple of buddies.Would someone please tell me what this means.Semper Fi.

Does anyone know how to go about having a name added to the Vietnam War memorial in Washington, D.C.? I believe my cousin's name should be included on the wall but I have no idea and see nothing on the Internet about how to add a name. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.

My name is Sheila Dexter McElyea and I am the oldest daughter of Ronald James Dexter. My dad went down in Vietnam on June 3, 1967 and I am trying to get in touch with anyone who might have served with him. I would also like anyone who knew him and my mother, Bobbie Dexter to contact me. They were stationed in Germany & North Carolina in the 1950's & 1960's. They had six children named, Ronnie, Sheila, Connie, Donna, Danny and Ted. If you knew my family please contact me.
