Dear Sirs, My daughter requested information about a school project, my family and Iwas overwhelm with the repsonces about the war. As an adult never have been so touched by the stories you all have shared with her. The pain even after all these years speaks out so clearly in your writings. My prayers are with each of you and hope you have reached a peace in each of your minds that you deserve. I have always been one who wished for peace and nver understand the meaning of why we go to war. God bless to all of you that have responded to my daughter and I have a new understanding of what the war was.

I need info on my uncle, James Haynes from vincennes, IN. I never got to meet him. He died in november of 1967, and all i know is that he was killed by a ground explosion. I am a navy seabee looking for a link to my past. any help is dearly appreciated.
