. . Contributed By Darelynn ClayOn Saturday, April 10, 1999
I am the widow of Ron, and I've always wished for more info on his death. I know that he died while carrying one of his wounded men off the battlefield, but I always wondered if he survived or not.He was in the Army with C co.,22 infantry, 4th infantry division, and he died West of Kontum,on April 3,1969. He was 20 yrs old (would've turned 21 on the 8th)He served in Viet Nam since Sept2.He was orig. from W.VA, but was living in Ohio when he got drafted. If anyone has any info at all to share with me, I'd welcome it, because he's always in my thoughts. I also know he has a nephew in WA. or Ohio that I would like to locate--born to Sherry Hacker. My brother, the Englishman, 1st Lieut Tony Harbord
. . Contributed By Gay HoldenOn Saturday, April 10, 1999
I am so anxious to trace some of Tony's friends and colleagues. He was killed on non-hostile duties in Saigon on 27 January 1969 and I am going through 100 or so of his letters prior to attempting to write a book/make a film. The only full names I have so far are Timothy Agersea (basic), Capt. Treadwell & David Ewing, Rick Smith (Airborne). Please help if you can.

MY BROTHER, THE ENGLISHMAN TONY HARBORD
. . Contributed By Gay HoldenOn Sunday, April 11, 1999
I left a message two days ago and now have a few more names of people mentioned in his letters home. Does anyone know anything of the following: Tom Coffey (OCS graduate with Tony, 1967); Chip (no last name, Fort Polk 1965)); "Charging Charlie" Beckwith (Lt. Col at Florida Ranger Camp 1968); Major Getz (Florida Ranger Camp 1967), also Committee Chief Capt. Daily; Allen (no last name, but you and Tony had a rare old time at Mardi Gras in 1966); Capt. Alan Scheerer (gave eulogy at Tony's memorial service Feb 3rd 1969, Saigon); and 'Rat' and 'Twiggy', both in his Hawk Recon platoon 1968. I've run out of names but not optimism. I'll come and find you myself if you don't reply!

Eduardo Guzman - Lugo was my father, I don't know anything about him. I would like to hear from anyone that served or knew him. Debra Kiesner - Guzman / dg.kiesner@worldnet.att.net

To my father's friend, Mike Clickner

I'm 14 years old and learning more about Vietnam is my main hobby. I obviously never knew Mike, but I think about him every day with tears in my eyes. I even wrote a poem deticated to him. At the end of the school year we're going to Washington D.C. I can't wait to see you, Mike.
