I just saw the movie "We were Soldiers". I happy to see that it was a accurate portrayal of the pain, the suffering and the sacrifce our troops unerwent. My father is a Vietnam vet and so this touched my heart in a special way. God bless the Armed Forces of the United States.

I am looking for anyone who served with Travis Turner. At the time he was killed, his unit that he was serving with was the (1st Searchlight Btry.,12th MAR,3d MARDIV).He was killed on a river patrol boat when hit by a mortar on 8 June 1968 in Quang Tri Province, Republic of Vietnam.
