A thank you to my father, who GAVE ALL!
. . Contributed By Tonya L. Jurs On Wednesday, November 07, 2001
I've never told you how proud I am that you served this beautiful country. For my freedom and for the masses, you joined the many thousands of men throughout history to fight for a cause. Freedom is that cause not just ours but for others as well. I know you came within inches of your life and I am just so lucky that you made it out. Vietnam almost took you, God made sure you could make my life complete. I love you dad more than you know and I am so proud of everything you stand for.

Prayer for this Veterans Day
. . Contributed By Chaplain Howard Flexer On Friday, November 09, 2001
Veterans Day 2001 Prayer for those in harms way Heavenly Father, This Veterans Day we are asking your help looking after our service men & woman who are once again faced with combat. They are doing what is asked of them as those who have gone before them have done. The long road has many dangers. Let them know you are with them. Let them know our prayers and love will make their tasks easier. Bring them back to their love ones as soon as they have done what needs to be done. We who have gone before them know all to well what faces them fighting a long way from home. Let them know that our hearts & prayers are with them. We thank you for answering our prayers. Amen Chaplain Howard Flexer November 2001
