Looking for info on the following 2 people.Barry S Buckley-Special Forces, Served 3 tours, received 3 purple hearts and the Silver Star. Last Rank-Captain. Originally from Madisonville, Ky/ Also Kerry A (Nip)Narf USA know he has a sniper but that's about it.Help please---These two men have been very special to me and I'd like to know more.Barry passed away on Sept.18th of Hepatitus and Nip is my brother-in-law.Thanks

Today when I arose I found a Solitary Rose, who placed it there no one knows. As I looked at it tears came to my eyes. Of all the ceremonies that went on this Veterans Day weekend. That Solitary Rose was the most moving & touching jester during this weekend full of many. All the speeches & prayers were not as loud as that Solitary Rose was. I thank who ever placed it there & I know it was not placed there for me. It was placed there for all fellow Vietnam Vets. or a loved one now gone. just found all of these sites. Have had MIA bracelet wore all through jr. and highschool.Just found out that more than one must have been made of the bracelets I thought there was only one of each soldier?

He couldn't help crying during the speech he made Saturday at Ft.Miley San Francisco California, the current site of the Moving wall. I am an atheist, but I was touched by how much he cared for us grunts of the 101. He payed a real price himself by the loss of his leg in that place. First rate human.

I was in country from 70 -71, I was in the signal corps stationed at Pleiku,Quin Hon. I left country for R&R and was ordered to state side duty, I can't remember the names of my buddies names I was with in Vietnam, so many times I see faces but I can't remember names or what happened to them, please can you help me?. I was just 18 then, I'm 47 now why why can't I remember the names?, I'm coming to the "WALL" this Thanksgiving for my first time, I would like to know if any of my buddies are on the wall, I did not get to say goodby and that I am am sorry for not being with them all the way. I am doing a paper for school on what the wall means to Vietnam Vets. I beilive that the wall stands for freedom, and why with that freedom we should guard it. We have to never let something like this war happen again, and with this wall, we are reminded of why. I would love to know what you think the wall means to Vietnam Vets. Send me an email.
