I am writing the story of the First of the Fifth Bravo unit who were at Landing Zone Columbus, and Albany in November of 1965. They had the gruesome job of loading all the bodies onto the choppers. I am trying to find relatives of Charles Eller, because I have in my possession a Bible to return to him that fell out of his pocket as he was put on a chopper. I also am trying to locate a Earl Easde that was wounded at Albany.I am doing this for Robert Hill, who was there.

Yesterday I went to Moving Wall in Waterford Ct. It was only 45 miles from my home this time. I stood in front each panel and gave a slow salute then moved to the next. I later said a prayer for all there. This time I had a job to do as a Chaplain for those who knew I was Going. I was asked to say hello to fellow MARINES that others knew and as I did and said a prayer for them and those who sent the message. I told them that My tears were their tears. Please if the Wall comes to your area get the local Upper schools to have trips there to see what the cost of Wars are to those on that Wall and those who retiurned. Bracelet, Real or Reproduction?

Recently, my best friend brought me a POW/MIA bracelet that she purchased for me while in Washington DC. It included information on the soldier whose name is engraved. However, the bracelet appears to be made of copper. To my understanding and recollection, POW/MIA bracelets are silver.at least in color. Can anyone verify?
