Honor . . Contributed By 2nd Lt. Jaime Gallagher On Wednesday, June 07, 2000 I am 22 years old and a newly commissioned AF officer. I am on reserve status and not going into active duty for another year. Looking at this webpage, I am touched and honored to be serving in the best military in the world following in the footsteps of the many who gave their lives. Everytime I see the flag or hear the national anthem it reminds me of the pride I have in joining the military to defend my country. I have a bracelet for 1st Lt. Robert E. Bennett III and would like to find out more about him from those who knew him. |

I ask that if you want to please sign our guessbook it means alot to me to hear what you think of the site. It's nothing fancy just my feeling and thoughts on a mostly missunderstood War that even for those who were there do not understand. The site is at http://sites.netscape.net/chaplainflexer/homepage I hope your visit helps you take away an understanding of some of the hurt we as Combat Veterans feel. With God,Chaplain Howard Flexer |

His sister, Shirley Ann (Hall) Burkard, is my mother. Their mother was Chloe Ann Wikoff (deceased 4/17/69). My mother (Shirley) passed away in 1988 and I am just trying to learn more about my family. Unfortunately, I do not know much about him except that he served in the Army and received a Purple Heart. Any information is greatly appreciated. |
