I am looking for a buddy from service. I last heard from him March 1972. He said he was leaving Vet Nam to come home and that he would be in New york, on April 8,1972. never heard from him again. His name is Phill Painter. If anyone can help me locate him I would be thankful.

I WAS A GRUNT 33 YEARS AGO WITH THE 3/22 25TH INF. DELTA CO. 1ST PLATOON.I SUFFER FROM P.S.T.D.ITS RAEL , I FEEL I NEVER LEFT NAM, STILL SEE THERE FACES, HEAR THERE CRIES, WAKE UP SREAMING EVERY NIGTH, THE BATTLES WILL NVER GO AWAY, IT'S LIKE A TAPE THAT WILL NOT STOP PLAYING, P.T.S.D. IS REAL I CARRY IT EVERY DAY AND NIGTH, I THOUGTH I CAME HOME FROM NAM , I WAS WRONG AND SO ARE THEY.

After nearly 32 years I finally feel like my Father's daughter. All my life I wanted to feel him with me and only now I realize he was with me all along, I only needed to open my heart to feel him. I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM ANYONE WHO WAS STATIONED AT TAY-NINH, SVN DURING 1969. MY BROTHER RICARDO ROMERO WAS K.I.A. THERE WHILE SERVING WITH THE 187TH AHC.I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM ANYONE WHO WAS STATIONED THERE. IT DOESNT MATTER WHETHER YOU KNEW HIM OR NOT. Does anyone out there remember him? KIA April 22, 1968 Went by the nickname "Butch" From Maine. I fondly told great stories all about his buddies that he served with and went through Basic at Ft.Bragg and Infantry at Ft. Polk? It would be great to hear from anyone that remembers that greatguy? We would love to hear from any of you. His son that was born after his death would very grateful for locating anyone that could tell me of a friendship he may have had?
