I am Bill's sister, desperately looking for anyone who may have known him or how he died. Our family received conflicting reports. He died on November 8, 1970 at Quang Tin. He may have been in an altercation with another soldier.

MY CHRISTMAS WISH FOR ALL
. . Contributed By Chaplain Howard Flexer On Thursday, December 09, 1999
As I did last year on Christmas Eve. I will sit in my living room with the fireplace aglow. I will think back to 1965 when I sat back to back with a fellow Marine on radio watch. We hummed Christmas carols in the warm rain just across the river from Hoe Voc, Vietnam. Earlier that day we were in a bad firefight, not that there were good ones. So we both wanted to be anywhere, but here. Again this year I will thank GOD for all I have. When my family asks me, What I want for Christmas? I tell them nothing, as I have all I could ask for. So at this holy time of year I want to give what I can back. I give you my JOY of LIFE that I've gotten to live from that wet night in 1965. I pray you will all feel that way also. GOD BLESS and MERRY CHRISTMAS Chaplain Howard Flexer

Qualifying for the Vietnam Memorial
. . Contributed By Brett Welch On Friday, December 10, 1999
My cousin, John Miraldi, died within a few months of returning home from VietNam. John was in combat and received a concusion which allowed him to come home. He died from a cerebral hemerage due to his combat injury. I recently paid my respects at the memorial in D.C. and his name was not listed. Can anyone tell me if my cousin is eligable to have his name added to the memorial.

verification of POW bracelet location
. . Contributed By Carol Beavers On Friday, December 10, 1999
I have had in my possession a Viet Nam war POW bracelet for a former POW. Is there a list or register of persons who purchased these bracelets? I would like to return the bracelet to the owner but would want verification to accompany the bracelet that it is indeed the original. Is there such a register, eg, name of POW, date and the name of the person who purchased it? Thank you.

. . Contributed By Mary Ann Steggles On Friday, December 10, 1999
I am searching for anyone who might have known Richard Mc Williams of the 101st Airborne. He was from Norman, Oklahoma and was posted in July, 1965. Or for anyone who might be able to give me information on the situation in South Vietnam at the time. Richard was a ground casualty. Thanks.
