Soldier search

hello all and happy holidays : ) I am searching for anyone who knew a soldier that is listed on the wall. His name is Abelardo Vera. He was a SGT for the Army; 82nd Airborned division; from brownsville texas; died on March 20, 1968 in Thua Thien South Vietnam. I am an photography art major and very and am trying to do an art project for my photography class. I know his family and i have gotten their consent to do this. I would appreciate all and any help anyone can give me. I would like to find anyone who has a picture of him. thanks again ODette Aguilar

 
 

My Farthers Death

My Farther did not die in Vietnam, but he was in the war. In 1990 my farther passed away and it was determined army felated they denied him disability while he was alive and then sevt a check to me,his daughter and they would not tell me why they determined his death army related , he really loved his grandson he only seen for ayear and a half theank you for letting me say this. My family and I are looking for Msgt. R.D. Hose', US Army. He served in the army with my father, Sgt. John T. Widner in Ft. Lewis, WA 1962-63. His nickname was "the Pineapple. Msgt. Hose' was sent to Vietnam in 1963 and my father was discharged and returned to WV. If anyone has any information about Msgt. Hose' please contact us at one of the three sources. Wesley Thurston was born on Jan,29 1942 in Rochester, New York. He was a PFC in the US Army 25th inf Div. He started his tour in VietNam on Aug 24, 1967 he was KIA on Feb 05, 1968 in Binh Duong.
