Looking For Anyone Who Knew My Dad, Darrell Gehrke
. . Contributed By Debra Lynne Gehrke-Kaim On Tuesday, November 16, 1999
Hi, My name is Debra, and my Dad, Darrell Gehrke (Army) was killed in Binh Long in December 1967 when I was 7 years old. I have precious few memories of him, and would be thrilled to communicate with anyone that knew him. I know that he was with another soldier who stepped on a mine, that soldier survived (but lost a leg). Please if you know either one of them, contact me. Unfortunately my Mother had divorced my Dad before he was killed, and has told me literally nothing, and most of his family keep pretty quiet.Thank you, and God Bless you All!
