I am the niece of this Atlanta, GA Hero. SGT Ronnie Thomas Mathis was killed in Action at Plei Me, South Vietnam on Nov 17, 1965 at the age of 26. Uncle Ronnie was with the First Cavalry Divison from Ft Benning, GA. His tour of duty began on Aug 17, 1965. If you had the priviledge of knowing this Hero, information would be greatly appreciated.
