My name is Susan and till today I knew nothing about my uncle who died in Phong Dinh, South Vietnam. All the information I have is he was in the 9th infantry div and served from Oct 23 1967 to Feb 1968. He died on Feb 19 1968. Any one with info please e-mail me. He was 22 when he died.

As a young child then a teenager I remember wearing my bracelet faithfully. Lighting a candel after confesion on saturday evening. Never knowing the man behind the name but knowing he was along way away in the same place as my beloved uncle Harvey. I wish I could find the words to express how i felt the first time touching the name on the wall as a young man, but I can't. all I can say is I will never forget.I still pray and I still light the candels and give thanks for the sacrafice He and all made.

Looking for Oliver Stanley Howard

He served in the Marines in the 1960's. He hung out with a group of four other Marines, one of them my father, Gunny Seargent Burl Boykin. I am trying to locate him for my dad. All of the other members of their group were found and any help in finding Oliver Howard would be nice. I am trying to plan a reunion for all of them. Thanks.

CPT JOSEPH WOODARD, 4th ID, KIA 5/6/69 at Tay Ninh, specialty 1542 (which I was told is an Artillery Operations Officer). PFC LAYNE MICHAEL SANTOS, 4th ID, KIA 3/3/69 at Kontum, a 13A10 Artilleryman. 1LT RONALD LEONARD WARNETT, Linden, NJ, specialty 1193.
