Hugh, You and I were bunkmates in NCOC and Airborne schools at Fort Benning in the summer of 1970. You were a real southern "country boy", always with a grin and southern twang. You kept up our spirits with your positive attitude thru the tough training we endured. Some of the guys kidded you because of your hillybilly mannerism but they all loved you very much. I wrote your mother in North Carolina a while back. She still misses you very much. Take care buddy! Lonnie

**TO HONOR AN AMERICAN HERO NOT FORGOTTEN**

SGT SEXTON U.S. ARMY - You are an American hero whose ultimate sacrifice on June 9, 1971 will never be forgotten. Rest well brave soldier. Thank you for your sacrifice and honorable service to this great nation. You will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved you. "SOLDIER" By George L. Skypeck , RegTM All Rights Reserved (No reproduction without prior permission By Mr. Skypeck)~~ I was that which others did not want to be. I went where others feared to go, and did what others failed to do. I asked nothing from those who gave nothing, and reluctantly accepted the thought of eternal lonelinessąshould I fail. I have seen the face of terror felt the stinging cold of fear and enjoyed the sweet taste of a moments love. I have cried, pained, and hopedąbut most of all, I have lived times others would say were best forgotten at least someday I will be able to say that I was proud of what I wasą A SOLDIER ~~~ ~~United States Army Values~~ Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless-Service, Honor, Integrity, Personal Courage SGT SEXTON, THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU HAVE COURAGEOUSLY GIVEN TO YOUR COUNTRY.
