My dearest uncle whom I never met...growing up, I would look at your medals and your picture and wonder why "welita" had them there..as I grew older...my dad Pablo would often tell me stories about you...Now as an adult I am proud to speak of you to my students. I would have loved to have spoken to you just once...I wish you could see my son...he is much like my cousin Louie (Leo's son) who is named after you...they look alike...so I guess he looks like you...Thank you for being our family's hero...Until we meet...
